DJ Black Coffee has continued his hot award-winning streak, walking away with the prestigious Best Deep House DJ award at the 2016 International DJ Awards in Ibiza on Monday night.

The DJ was up against some stiff competition including &Me, Adam Port, Andhim, Blond:ish, Catz 'N Dogz, Dixon, Duke Dumont, MK and Sonny Fodera.

The DJ Awards, held in Ibiza each year, are the only international awards ceremony that exclusively celebrates DJs.

Unfortunately, Black Coffee was not able to attend the ceremony to accept his award. But the excited DJ did post an acceptance speech on Twitter.

"Woke up a winner of the 2016 Deep House DJ from last night's DJ Awards. Thank you to everyone who voted," he later wrote on Instagram.

Black Coffee's win comes a year after he won himself two prizes at the 2015 edition of the awards, in the Breakthrough and Dance Nation categories.

It is the latest award for Black Coffee, after his wins at the BET Awards, SA Music Awards and Sunday Times Generation Next Awards earlier this year.
