Zoleka Mandela pays tribute to her late daughter

In honour of her late daughter Zenani, who died tragically in a car crash six years ago, Zoleka Mandela has become a Global Road Safety ambassador.
Taking to social media recently Zoleka explained that after her daughter's death she has made it her mission to create awareness around road safety.
"Every day, 500 of our children are killed everyday and thousands more are seriously injured on our world's roads! My daughter and best friend, Zenani was tragically killed at the hands of a drunk driver two days after her 13th birthday," Zoleka remembered.
She went on to say that on the day her daughter died there were numerous other families across the world facing the same tragedy.
In memory of her daughter, Zoleka has urged people to take a stand to help save lives.
"In celebrating her memory, my role as a mother and African is to ensure that we implore with world leaders to take stronger action against this man made epidemic - a violation of our children's rights".
