In honour of their flipping hot new collaboration, rap stars K.O and Okmalumkoolkat are throwing fans a free concert.

The concert will be held this Friday (October 21), from 6pm to midnight at Bassline in Johannesburg.

And while K.O assures us that entrance is completely free - no matter what time you pull in, he has encouraged fans to get there early to avoid disappointment.

"The venue only has capacity for just over 1,000 people and once it is filled we will have to shut the doors. So, fans should come as early as possible to make sure they get in," K.O told TshisaLIVE on Monday.

He said that a cash bar would be open for concert-goers at the venue.

K.O explained that the idea for the concert came to the pair as they prepared to release their long-awaited collaboration, Don Dada.

"It was a spontaneous decision. We know that people often need time to plan before they go to a concert and so we decided to have a 'pop-up concert' for our fans to thank them for their support," KO said.

And if the show is a success, the pair might just be taking it across the country.

"We are entertaining the idea of perhaps going on a small tour together and doing concerts around the country," K.O added.

See you there, fam!
