Unathi has undergone a major body transformation and posts pictures of her incredible weight-loss on social media.
The Metro FM DJ has used her story to motivate others to change.
She spoke out about the hate she used to receive. Unathi said she has learnt to forgive those who used to troll her.
"They would tell me nine nine on Twitter that 'Unathi you look like a stuffed vetkoek' they would laugh to my friends not seeing my friends pain and say 'Your friends arms look like dumplings still boiling in the pot'! They will psyche you out and TRY to convince you it's IMPOSSIBLE! Forgive them!"
