Die Antwoord are an angry bunch that you would probably never want to meet in a dark alley late at night. They could start a riot in an empty room and now they have their sights set on the creators of their Hollywood film Chappie.
It may be more than a year since the film made its global release but the group still feel like they were short-changed when the credits came out.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, the group's Ninja shared how he and ¥o-landi had "hand-painted" one of the most iconic locations in the film and were never credited for their work.
"Die Antwoord's secret lair in Chappie (was) hand-painted by Ninja and ¥o-landi... dumb f*cks 'forgot' to credit us. (They) said art direction was by some fat f*ck who smiled in our face when (Director) Neill was around, then flipped to retard gremlin face when Neill was gone. Was a few fat fat f*cks like that on set," Ninja wrote.
He repeated the group's stance that they would never again star in someone else's film and would instead be shooting their own.
"We are going to make our own movie soon with no brakes on. Here comes (the) fun," Ninja wrote.
Ninja's rant comes only months after the group accused the creators of Hollywood blockbuster Suicide Squad of stealing their style.
"Yes, (Director) David Ayer. You jacking our style. Calling Ninja up before your movie came out pretending to be down, so it looks okay when you bite our black & white graf style & our opening sequence to Umshiniwam & and all the little tiny details you nabbed that other people won’t see but we notice," the group's ¥o-landi said in a lengthy Instagram rant in August.
