The 'serious-looking while writing' kid that has gone viral!

There's absolutely no doubt that you've come across this hilarious meme of a serious-looking kid who's writing something down on paper. Not only has it taken the internet by storm, but it has quickly turned the kid, Jake from Ghana, into an online sensation.

While it may appear he is a class prefect writing down the names of his unruly and disruptive classmates, it turns out he's not.

He was part of the Homeland Series outreach programme by US-based artist Solomon Adufah, which later inspired a series of paintings.

"Jake was one of the children I taught in Ghana. He was always gentle and quiet. Ever present in class and was eager to learn every day," Adufah wrote on Instagram alongside the now-famous picture of Jake

So there you have it: he was learning how to express himself through art.

But according to social media users, his face depicts a number of sidesplitting scenarios and characters.
