Kenny Kunene lashes 'cradle-snatcher' claims: My haters don't know anything about culture

Controversial businessman Kenny Kunene has gone to war with those who are questioning his decision to marry someone so much younger than him, asking why they are not attacking other high profile personalities who have done the same.

Kenny Kunene confirmed to TshisaLIVE this week that he is set to marry his 22-year-old fiancée Nonkululeko Mhlanga later this month.

But his announcement was overshadowed by those who questioned the 24-year age gap between the pair.

Kenny responded angrily to the criticism, telling TshisaLIVE that those who question the marriage should educate themselves about African culture.

"Every African who is questioning my marriage is questioning their heritage. They don't know anything about their culture. They say that we are not right in the head but you can ask any historian, our great- grandfathers always married women who were 20/30 years younger than them. It is a fact that cannot be denied by anyone, so if you are insulting us you are insulting your mother, your father, your grandmothers. It is a serious insult but I am not worried about them," Kenny said

He asked why his haters were not pestering other personalities who had also decided to marry younger women.

Kenny once declared that he would never get married ever again but revealed that he changed his mind after being smitten by Nonkululeko.

" I met a lot of women but none of them gave me a reason to go back on my word. Nonkululeko was different and I decided to give it a try. It is a decision I have made and a decision that I am excited about. The people who are closest to me are not surprised that I am getting married," Kenny said.
