Radio personality and entrepreneur, DJ Sbu may be one of the kindest celebs around but that doesn’t mean he won’t check you if you overstep your mark.

The DJ Sbu Breakfast presenter took a Twitter user to task this week when the user told him to work smart and not hard.

Replying to a video tweet in which DJ Sbu, real name Sbusiso Leope, was promoting his energy drink MoFaya for people who want to sell it, @mafangani said “dawg, aren’t you trying too hard on this thing mate? Remember the idea’s to work smart. No hard labour”.

DJ Sbu was quick with the comeback and tweeted: “Ask yourself why am I a multimillionaire and you’re not” – Ouch!

Speaking to TshisaLive, DJ Sbu said that while he doesn’t usually clap back at followers, this particular user touched a sore point.

“It’s all about inspiring people to work hard and it gets frustrating when people refuse to see the importance of hard work when I’m trying to inspire people to hustle and take charge of their own future and fortunes”.
