When the lady in the yellow dress rolled into town for Hlaudi Motsoeneng's homecoming party, even gospel legend Rebecca Malope was relegated to supporting act status.

The nurse who lit up the Metro FM Music Awards  in a revealing yellow dress last month is really serious about carving out a music career and scored a slot at the ‘Welcome home Hlaudi’ concert over the weekend.

The concert, held at the Phuthaditjhaba Stadium in the Free State, saw performances from the likes of Rebecca Malope, Doc Shebeleza and rapper Jub Jub.

But it was the lady in the yellow dress (known by her stage name of Skolopad) who emerged as one of the headline acts of the concert, with Rebbeca Malope opening for her .

"I was honoured by Dr Rebecca Malope who 'opened' the stage for me at the homecoming event of Ntate Hlaudi Motsoeneng in Qwa Qwa," Skolopad tweeted.

Rocking her now famous yellow dress, Skolopad showed more leg than a local butcher shop and had fans screaming for more.
