Minnie Dlamini has shared juicy details of how her fiancé proposed to her late last year. Her engagement caused a frenzy on social media and the wedding may be sooner than we thought.

During an interview on The Real Goboza, Minnie gave fans a glimpse of how her man, Quinton Jones made her fairytale a reality on the day he proposed.

The TV personality explained that she had been travelling a lot for work, and her man decided they deserved a weekend away.

"We drove to a bush lake house, and when we got there, he had arranged some of my favorite food and stuff. It was a beautiful house and at sunset he literally went like 'pour me a glass of champagne'," she said.

She said that as she admired the sunset and sipped on some bubbles, she heard Quinton call her name. Minnie added that she did not expect to turn around and find bae on one knee.

"I was a bit shocked for a while, I could not believe it. He has this tendency, every time he buys me  jewellery, he goes on one knee and asks me to marry him, so I thought it was a joke, but it wasn't, he was serious, I started crying and eventually said yes," Minnie said.

Minnie said that she called her mom, then her brothers, then her dad to share the news. She and Quinton had been dating for two years before the engagement. Minnie said that she didn't believe in long engagements so her wedding is in the near future.
