Bonang Matheba calls herself the queen of silence, ignoring the negative comments she is slapped with on a daily basis, but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt.

Bonang was on SABC 1 show, Six Heros to My Name, and spoke about the negative feedback she got when she first joined Top Billing and Metro FM.

"They said 'Bonang is too ratchet. Bonang is too loud.' It hurt a lot. On social media you get immediate feedback. At the end of the day I'm human. I'm Cancerian and Cancerian's are the most sensitive in the zodiac."

B said that despite the name-calling and immense amount of negativity surrounding the appointments, she pushed forward.
