Rap hopeful Dee Xclusive got booted off The Hustle for being 'the guy without a verse' but the aspiring rapper has since explained that he didn't want to drop a "wack verse" that's why he opted to rather not.

Last week the rap hopeful impressed Kwesta and won the challenge, but last night he fell short and was shown the door for not having a verse.

The Vuzu rap competition has been trending since last night and Dee Xclusive, real name Didintle Mokhine, has explained himself by dropping a hotter verse in response.

"At that moment, I wanted to put all my energy in writing the verse. The pressure also contributed but I would rather be the guy without the verse than the guy with a wack verse," Dee Xclusive told TshisaLIVE.

The aspiring rapper said although his Vuzu Hustle journey is over, his music career is just taking off. He exclusively shared with TshisaLIVE that he was dropping  an EP with seven tracks before the end of the day.

Dee Xclusive also capitalised on the buzz around his name to drop a verse on YouTube.

Here are some of the reactions after Dee was booted off the show:
