Boity's final Club 808 episode is going to be helluva emotional

TV personality Boity Thulo will say goodbye to Club 808 fans on Friday night and here's what you can expect.

It was this week announced that Boity's last show will be tonight and promised a number of surprises for the host, including a performance by her ex-bae Cassper Nyovest.

In a teaser video, Boity is seen shedding a tear as she says goodbye to her team.

I have the had the most incredible, most fulfilling experience on Club808. This is not and will never be goodbye. I leave @club808_ig having grown into a strong woman who was given a huge, powerful platform to completely be her true self. The joy, fun, lightheartedness you see on Club808 is because of a phenomenal, talented family that I worked with on the show. I could never have fallen in love with who I am as a TV presenter and as a person had it not been for such a gifted, loving team. I am eternally, wholeheartedly grateful and I will be coming back over and over again for the 808 challenge! Hehe!!  "Man, I cried my eyes out during the farewell! I thought I was a thug!," she told her Twitter fans.

Boity co-hosted the show for two years alongside first Cyprian Ndlovu and then Lawrence Maleka.

A new host will be announced tonight.
