The hotel reality series Welcome to the Parker, which started last week, captures the complex relationships between the staff, managers and clients of the four-star Parker Palm Springs in California.

Last week's episode ended with hotel manager Samir Chraibi holding a staff meeting about "obsession" and how "heads will roll" if the team doesn't get it right.

Tonight, they are on their toes as interior designer Jonathan Adler, known for speaking his mind when it comes to the decor at hotels, checks in.

A new catering sales manager, Michael Twomey, has to deal with the outrageous demands of a group throwing a huge party that makes last-minute requests.

Other characters include hilarious executive chef Rocio Varela, who seems unqualified for her position.

Enjoy the guilty pleasure of viewing expensive hotels and rich clients while the hard-working staff race to keep the reputation of the hotel intact.
