Sales opened on Monday morning and tickets cost R750 with a limit of two tickets per person.
The tickets were also only sold to people who bought the November issue of O Magazine, which had a unique ticket number on it.
"If Oprah's sought after goody bags are after, they [ticket holders] will be disappointed.
"The show is a motivational talk, where Oprah and SA's O Magazine editor, Samantha Page will head a discussion 'You Have The Power'," it was reported.
Oprah's favourite things - an annual segment on her show - features a list of things she likes that year, some of which are given to the entire studio audience that day.
Her goody bags have featured everything from croissants to Blackberry phones, computers and Burberry coats.
But for South African guest's R750, they will each receive a gift bag, a six month subscription to O Magazine and breakfast.
The show on November 30, has been billed as an inspiring morning with Oprah.
