Darren Rajbal wins SA’s Got Talent

Deaf hip-hop dancer Darren Rajbal won the coveted title of Most Talented South African on SABC2's SA's Got Talent. Using a translator, he signed his thanks to the country for choosing him before celebrating his victory and the R250,000 prize.

SA's Got Talent Final

Runner up was beat-boxer George Avakian, while eight-year-old Cleo Filander placed third.

Lira, dressed in a beautiful long blue dress wowed the crowds with her voice before the winner was announced. Strictly Come Dancing presenter and judge Ian von Memerty told the finalists that they had opened doors to “a brighter future” and made the country “proud to be South African”.

How the hell did that little Cleo get into the final three? ALL the others were better than her!

The only reason Cleo didnt win is bcos she was very young......I think there was a sinister ploy here., I have a feeling she was dumped, nobody knows what was the outcome of the voting results, all we heard was the announcement who who won, no voting results were displayed.

In my mind and I was rooting for her all the way is that she won the contest......

Any one of the finalists could/should have won. They were all fantastic. So proud of them all. Cleo is still very young - she's going to be so so good but not just now. Loved the show.

Has anyone watched the USA version of this show? I watched just one episode of the local version and never again.Go figure.

Bruinou maybe you are in the wrong country SA really got talent and it definitely shows. i really hope that all 6 contestants make a career of what the doing and that cleo be nurtured, she is definitely one for the future
