Seven animals ran through the streets of Cadiz, Southern Spain, where the Hollywood actor’s latest project ‘Knight and Day’ – which also stars Cameron Diaz – was being shot.

Two women were injured during the incident, which ended when the bulls were captured on a beach, and all work on the movie has been suspended by the major’s office.

A spokesperson for the major’s office said: “Nothing will be filmed in Cadiz until we have a new plan that guarantees the safety of local residents.”

Rehearsals for scenes which re-enact the famous running of the bulls, which takes place annually in Pamplona, Northern Spain, had been taking place last week.

Neither Tom or Cameron were present on Sunday but both are scheduled to fly into the country this weekend.
