New 3D cinemas for Nu Metro
Nu Metro cinemas is adding a new dimension to your cinema experience, with the addition of 11 RealD 3D screens to its circuit in the next few weeks.
Since the success of Avatar in 3D, several movies are following suit and 3D has become quite popular.
The film industry is taking 3D very seriously, says Nu Metro. This is evident with at least 20 3D films being released for the remainder of 2010.
The first ever 3D screens for Port Elizabeth, Bloemfontein and Nelspruit will show Toy Story 3 and Shrek Forever After, which is sure to entertain audiences over the winter school break.
Mark Harris, Content Executive for Nu Metro Cinemas says: “We are Africa’s leading 3-D cinema chain, currently with fourteen dedicated screens around the country and boasting the world’s largest RealD 3-D screen at Nu Metro Montecasino in Johannesburg - a massive 77 foot screen."
There will now be 3D cinemas at Walmer Park, Loch Logan, Riverside, Clearwater Mall (two), Montecasino (three), Emperors Palace (three), The Glen (two), Beford Centre, Hyde Park, Menlyn Park (two), Pavilion (two), Galleria (two), Canal Walk (two) and the V&A Waterfront (two).
