Frost can be expected every year at music festival

GABISILE NDEBELE | 04 August, 2010 22:300 Comments

Guitarist Albert Frost is the only musician who has played at Oppikoppi since it began in 1994.

Frost, who began his music career playing alongside his father in the Blues Broers, back in 1994, will take to the stage with guitarist-singer Vusi Mahlasela, who has also been a festival stalwart.

Frost has shared the stage with the likes of the Rolling Stones and REM.

This year he will be joined by top local acts, including BLK JKS, Die Heuwels Fantasties, DiGiTAL ROCKiT, Gang of Instrumentals, Prime Circle, Straatligkinders, Taxi Violence, Zebra & Giraffe and British bands Boom Monk Ben and Gemma Ray.
