Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have denied widely circulated reports that they were to separate after 13 years of marriage.

The celebrity couple - whose apparently happy marriage and film-star children made them the paragons of Hollywood families - were reported to have split by In Touch magazine.

In a statement to E! News, the Hollywood power couple categorically denied the report.

"Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false. We are still together, and our marriage is intact," the couple said.

Smith, 42, is one of Hollywood's most bankable stars with roles in Hitch, Independence Day and I Am Legend.

Pinkett Smith, 39, has starred in movies including The Matrix Revolutions, Reign Over Me, and Collateral.

They have two children together: Jaden, 13, star of the 2010 remake of Karate Kid and The Day the Earth Stood Still, and Willow, 10, who had a music hit with the song Whip My Hair and starred alongside her father in I Am Legend. Author: Andy Goldberg
