Katy Perry was confirmed as America's fan favourite when she won five categories at the People's Choice Awards.
The Fireworks singer was honoured Wednesday night as favourite female artist, best video, favourite song, favourite tour headliner and even favourite TV guest star for a stint on the sitcom How I Met Your Mother.
But she was not present at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles to accept the awards in person, having pulled out this week after her split from her husband, comedian Russell Brand.
More than 230Â million votes were cast in what is regarded as the country's most important fan-chosen award show, which is now in its 38th year.
Voters gave Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 four awards including best movie and favourite ensemble cast.
Water for Elephants, starring Twilight star Robert Pattinson, won best movie drama while Bridesmaids won for best comedy movie.
Actress Emma Stone won best actress and best comedy actress for her roles in The Help and Crazy, Stupid Love.
