US indie pop band fun. say they are not amused by parodies of their hit single ‘We Are Young’.
The single, off the band’s second album Some Nights reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
According to SPIN, the band is not pleased by the many spoofs that have taken off.
"I'm not going to go Coolio on the situation and say I'm not into parodies, but I'm going to say, chances are, it's not funny," frontman Nate Ruess told MTV.
"Maybe I have a high standard for what's funny, but I'm just going to go with We Are Not Young, [and] you probably are not funny."
