Black Keys' Dan Auerbach splits from wife: report

Bang Showbiz | 12 February, 2013 08:45
Dan Auerbach (R) of the Black Keys performs with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band at the 55th annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, California, February 10, 2013.

The Black Keys guitarist Dan Auerbach and his wife Stephanie Gonis have reportedly ended their marriage.

He wasn't accompanied by Gonis at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday and sources close to the pair claim they have parted ways.

A source told Us Weekly: "Dan's wife wasn't there [at the ceremony] because they are going through a divorce. The split is unfortunate."

Auerbach, 33, - who has a four-year-old daughter Sadie Little with Gonis - also walked the red carpet without his wedding band.

Auerbach’s split with his wife comes just months after the band's drummer Patrick Carney married Emily Ward.

The couple tied the knot in the backyard of their home in Nashville in September in front of 350 friends and family and the couple's Irish wolfhound Charlotte.

The ceremony was officiated by comedian Will Forte while Auerbach also attended.

The bride wore a lace gown by Carolina Herrera as she walked down the aisle to Tommy James & the Shondells' 'Crimson and Clover' while the groom opted for a white tuxedo jacket and black trousers.
