Madonna splits from toy boy

Madonna has split from her boyfriend Timor Steffens after they reportedly fell out during a family holiday to the South of France earlier this month.

The 56-year-old singer reportedly fell out with the 26-year-old dancer - who she has been dating since January - on her son Rocco's 14th birthday during their family holiday to the South of France earlier this month.

A source told Us Weekly: ''Madonna politely asked Steffens to take his luggage and leave. He packed up and left the trip and said they were done.''

The Hung Up hitmaker then moved on to Ibiza but Steffens is not said to have gone with her. Despite their split, insiders believe the former couple were not in a ''serious'' relationship.

A source close to the singer added to the publication: ''It was never serious, and she was never that into it. She's been working on her album and getting Lola off to school, no time for anything heavy.''

This comes shortly after Steffens said he didn't mind the 30-year age gap between him and Madonna and admitted he likes to date older women because they remind him of their mother.

He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: ''There is an age gap between me and Madonna but I don't notice it. 'My girlfriends have always been older than me and that's how I like it. I learn a lot. 'Mum is a big inspiration. She is a fighter, a strong independent woman, and any relationship I've had in the past was mostly with women that are independent and like to have an opinion.''

Madonna - who also has children Lourdes, 17, Mercy eight, and David, eight - split from previous boyfriend Brahim Zaibat, 25, in December.
