Lulu Dikana funeral details announced, no memorial service will be held

Afro-soul songstress Lulu Dikana will be laid to rest in Bloemfontein on Saturday 13, December, her record label announced.

According to Sowetan Live, a funeral service will take place from 09:00 at Tsoseletso High School Hall, DR DM Selemela Street, Bloemanda, Bloemfontein.

Those wishing to bid farewell to the singer can attend the service. According to Dikana's record label, Sony, there will be no memorial service as expressed by Dikana at the time of her passing.

The sister of Zonke Dikana, died last week after a short, undisclosed illness. She passed on a Wednesday and the family released the following statement: ""It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected and tragic loss of soul songstress Lulu Dikana who passed away last night after a short illness while being treated in hospital."
