After a weekly magazine ran with a cover story detailing Minnie Dlamini's apparent dire financial situation, the TV presenter is reportedly intent on taking them to task for the claims.

Dlamini, a TV presenter and actress is said to be livid over a story by Drum magazine stating she was 'struggling financially' and branding her annual calender a flop.

Dlamini released the calender early this year, at a price of R120 to raise funds for the Minnie Dlamini foundation. She has been actively campaigning for the calender on social media and through her celebrity contacts. Dlamini shot the calender in various locations last year and revealed it at the end of the year.

According to Drum magazine, Dlamini is now out of pocket as she allegedly failed to pay suppliers on time.

"She funded the whole project out of her own pocket. She even struggled to pay the photographers and stylists," said a source.

Dlamini's team told the weekly that all involved in the project had been paid in time. Yesterday, Dlamini hinted at lodging a complaint with the press ombudsman, saying: "you shall learn to trillion check your facts..."

She also retweeted comments from people, one which read: "They don't care abt how their "facts" affect people. They only care abt sales mxm, what a shame!!"

A stylist who also worked on the calender project tweeted: "The pair that is @Minniedlamini and @pumzanohashe are professionals and we have a good relationship. It's all lies, we were paid on time."
