Nina Dobrev wanted to stop filming 'The Vampire Diaries' earlier, but the show's creator Julie Plec talked her out of it, as she was so close to completing her six-season contract. Plec said: ''Nina had said earlier this year that she wanted to be done, and we spent a little time trying to talk her out of it. (We'd say,) 'Oh, look at all these great plans of how you can stay!' '' Despite rumours that Dobrev was keen to leave the show because of her failed relationship with co-star Ian Somehalder - who recently got married to Nikki Reed - Plec is adamant there weren't any ''hard feelings'' around her exit. Speaking on the KCRW podcast, Plec said: ''(Nina) was just looking forward to moving on with no hard feelings and no drama. She finally was like, 'No, I signed up for six years. I've done my six years. I'm ready to move on and spread my wings.'
