F***ing hell, I am not Liam: Noel Gallagher

Noel Gallagher gets mistaken for Liam Gallagher a lot, and is ''sick'' of it. The 47-year-old musician has revealed that he hates it when strangers think he's his younger brother and former bandmate. When asked during his US tour if he tires of his name being pronounced Noël by Americans, he replied: ''Not as sick as I get of people calling me Liam. Particularly on the tube. People find it amazing that I get public transport in London, I get on the underground. ''I get the guy down the end of the carriage who is looking above the throng of people and you're like, 'ohh no, he's going to do it'. "And he'll just go... 'LIAM! Yes man! Liam!' And it's just like, f***ing hell.'' Oasis split in 2009 when Noel quit the band - which originally formed in Manchester in 1991 - following an explosive row with Liam, 42, backstage at a show in Paris but the 'Don't Look Back in Anger' hitmakers are planning a reunion without Noel. The original line-up featuring Liam, guitarist Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs, bassist Paul 'Guigsy' McGuigan and drummer Tony McCarroll are now planning on getting back together. A source previously said: ''It's very early days but the wheels are in motion. Liam, Guigsy, Bonehead and Tony are all interested and keen to see how it can work.''..
