Zoe Saldana believes criticism about her husband Marco Perego's choice to take her name is ''disgusting''. Saldana recently revealed husband Marco Perego - who she wed in 2013 - had chosen to take her name and has blasted those who branded it wrong. She said: ''I'm very happy that people are talking about [it]. For men to be discriminated and picked on for wanting to take on their partner's name, for their masculinity to be put into question, I think it's disgusting. It shouldn't be that way. ''If my husband and I, what we're doing in our lives serves as an example then we're happy.'' Since announcing the news, Saldana and Perego have been receiving a lot of support from couple's who've decided to take the woman's surname too. She added to Entertainment Tonight: ''But we realised that by our fans writing to us that people have been doing this since the beginning of time. We're just the only ones that live in a public eye and it makes the news. That's what really made us feel so happy... We felt that we're not alone. When asked what she hopes it would teach her six-month-old twins Cy and Bowie, she added: ''That they have a great man as their father. And even better mom!''..
