Details: Rapper AKA and Zinhle split saga gets ugly

Since releasing a statement about his amicable split with DJ Zinhle, AKA has spoken out about the scandalous claims made about the reason he split with the mother of his one-month-old child.

More details have emerged about the shock split between AKA and Zinhle which was announced last week Tuesday.

According to Sunday Sun, Zinhle found out about AKA's cheating ways when she found smses exchanged between him and Bonang Matheba. The two are said to have started seeing each other behind Zinhle's back.

They supposedly hooked up at the BET awards in Los Angeles and at the Durban July as well as at the Loerie Awards in Durban a few weeks ago. A source told Sunday Sun that Zinhle and AKA were leading separate lives even while she was pregnant.

“Zinhle had been waiting for her baby to be born so she could sort out her life. They slept in separate bedrooms. A well-known DJ had already tipped Zinhle off that AKA’s illicit love affair had blossomed at Metro FM. Zinhle knew all about AKA’s philandering ways. But who can blame him, he’s young and he’s a rapper, he has to be out there!” said the source.

The weekly also reports Matheba's fling with Nigerian superstar D'Banj apparently ended when he found out about her dalliance with AKA. This led to him publicly humiliating Matheba by professing his love on social media for his on and off girlfriend - a billionaire heiress.

Meanwhile, City Press reports AKA was shown the door at the house he and Zinhle apparently bought together in Bryanston. The rapper was kicked out after an argument about Matheba being the other woman in their life.

Another source told City Press: “The last straw was two weeks ago, when someone close to Jiyane saw Forbes and Bonang looking cosy during the Loerie Awards.”

AKA took to Twitter on Saturday to address the rumours surrounding his split.

I don't usually explain myself when it comes to my private life but the media is fabricating a lot of lies to capitalize on my break up.
