Metro FM radio host and TV presenter Lerato Kganyago has suffered a heart-wrenching tragedy when she had a miscarriage.

The bubbly media personality has had to contend with losing what would have been her first child with her North West businessman boyfriend.

According to Sunday World, Kganyago was two months pregnant and confirmed to the paper she indeed had a miscarriage.

"It's a sensitive matter and I'm still not ready to talk about it yet. Can you guys please give me an opportunity to deal with this on my own as privately as I can?"

The paper reports Kganyago's relative said she collapsed while at her Fourways home. Bleeding profusely, she was rushed to hospital and sadly told she had lost her unborn child.
