Another key member of 'Generations The Legacy' is on her way out, following a recent exodus of lead actors from the SABC 1 drama.

As Times LIVE reported in July, several actors from Generations The Legacy were set to leave the soapie.

An insider said the drama was undergoing a revamp with lead actors such as Denise Zimba who played Mary, Asanda Foji who was cast as Simphiwe and Ivy Nkhuta who plays Gog Flo were on their way out. While Foji and Zimba have indeed left, Nkhuta is still on the show.

The latest star to face the axe is now Lebogang Mthunzi who stars as Angela Moroka.

Kabelo Moalusi, who plays Mthunzi’s on-screen boyfriend Siya Radebe will also leave the show, according to a statement released by the show.

"We've had the pleasure of witnessing Lebogang's growth, not only as an actress but an overall performer. We wish her all the best with her future prospects and we trust she will flourish in her plans," Generations publicist Gaaratwe Mokhethi said.

"Lebohang and Kabelo have played a pivotal role in sharpening Generations: The Legacy into compelling entertainment," Generations show-runner Mfundi Vundla said.
