Isibaya actor Thabiso Mfaba says he is fearing for his life following a scuffle with police in Johannesburg on Saturday.

Mfaba claims he was harassed by the Honeydew police, who he claims, out of the blue, grabbed his bag and emptied all the contents on the floor, Sowetan newspaper reported on Wednesday.

The actor added that the policemen went as far as him of his socks and shoes. Mfaba told the newspaper that Honeydew police refused to help him open a case of assault.

“I’m still horrified even now. I’m afraid to even walk on the streets because they (police) might be following me. I could get killed. I’m actually fearing for my life,” Mfaba told the daily newspaper.

Honeydew SAPS spokesperson Warrant Officer Karen Jacobs failed to state why the police could not open a case.

Mfaba said he then went to the Rosebank police station on Tuesday, where he was advised to go to the SAPS provincial offices for help.

Mfaba appeared on the Mzansi Magic show last week as a harassed taxi driver.
