Following rumours ex-soccer player Jimmy Tau had been dumped by his fiancée for a DJ, the two posted a happy snap together, putting to bed the rumours they were headed for splitsville.

Tau's fiancée, Sizakele Manonga shared an image of the pair on her Instagram account.

She captioned it: "I'll leave this here."

According to a Sunday tabloid, Tau had been dumped by Manonga after the Pretoria beauty was spotted in the company of Major League DJ, Bandile Mhere.

The newspaper quoted a source as saying that Manonga had moved on and had been cheating on Tau with Mhere.

Tau told the weekly that he wished the two the best of luck and he had not been on speaking terms with Manonga.

When questioned about his supposed romance with Manonga, the DJ said he was not that kind of person and had not been involved in an affair with her.

Manonga, the daughter of a multi-millionaire Pretoria based businessman, made headlines last year after she opened a case of assault against Kaizer Chiefs player George Lebese.

She later withdrew the charges and made headlines once again after it was reported Tau had paid lobola set at R200,000.
