Mpho Maboi opens up on her split from Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Reneilwe Letsholonyane

TV sports presenter and radio personality Mpho Maboi has opened up about her split from Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Reneilwe Letsholonyane.

Maboi and the Bafana Bafana midfielder broke up for a while five years ago but got back together after a few months.

The Juice reported on Tuesday on an interview Maboi recently had with Bright Rock TV in which she opened up wholly about their split and how it helped them grow stronger as a couple.

“The breakup was a bit hard, because we broke up while I was pregnant with our son at the time. But it had to happen. I think we had got to a point where we were toxic to each other," said Maboi.

"Eventually I had to make the decision that 'listen this is just not working. We will make better parents for this person if we are apart,” said the SABC1 Sports anchor.

“Fortunately, we managed to deal with everything and I must say our relationship has been better the second time around,” she adds.
