TV and radio personality Bonang “Queen B” Matheba has for the first time spoken out about her beef with Pearl Thusi.

She also brushed aside her alleged romantic relationship with rapper AKA.

Thusi and Matheba apparently do not get along at all and the former has allegedly made a habit of throwing shade at Matheba.

In an interview with Sowetan on Thursday, Matheba revealed that she hasn’t made peace with the suspended Metro FM presenter.

Bonang Matheba on the AKA issue: “That’s 2015, I’m in 2016. Life is good, that wave has passed.”

Queen B told Sowetan that “she doesn’t bother me.”

“I don’t think about it. When I started out I had people I looked up to and drew inspiration from, women like Basetsana Khumalo, Zandi Nhlapo, Nonhle Thema, Claire Mawisa,” said the 29 year-old.

“It never crossed my mind to tear another woman down.”

Asked by a Twitter follower last month why she kept silent along all while Thusi threw shade at her, Queen B went for the jugular.

On her relationship with AKA, Matheba said: “That’s 2015. Life is good and that wave has passed."
