Belgium-based Bafana Bafana midfielder Andile Jali took to social media on Tuesday in a bid to squash a weekend report that he doesn’t take care of his family and spends his money on his fiancee Nonhle Ndala.

Relatives and neighbours of the former Orlando Pirates star told Sunday Sun of how the KV Oostende player is apparently neglecting his father.

After Jali’s overseas move and subsequent engagement to Ndala, the relatives and neighbours allege, the soccer star visits and support his father less.

“But shortly after his move to Belgium he attracted a gold digger who’s draining him and keeping him from his family,” a source told the newspaper.

Jali never sets foot at his Matatiele home in the Eastern Cape when he’s in the country and spends most of his time in Johannesburg, the relatives allege.

Poking fun at the newspaper’s reports, Jali posted a picture on his Instagram account of a house which is under construction and captioned it: “Look Sunday Sun”
