'Generations: The Legacy' star actor Vuyo Dabula is at the receiving end of a slew of insults from his fans after he humiliated several admirers at the recent Metro FM Music Awards in Durban.

The awards took place on 27 February 2016.

The trouble for the 39-year-old Dabula, who plays Gaddafi in the popular SABC1 soapie, started when he apparently insulted a female admirer, according to a report in the latest issue of Drum magazine.

Dabula’s fan Mandisa Gumbi told the magazine of how the actor repelled her by telling her that she stinks when she asked for a hug.

“You must go a take a good bath and clean up nicely before asking for a hug,” the actor reportedly told Gumbi.

Gumbi said: “He’s one of the celebrities I came to see on the black carpet…but after today, I’ve lost all respect for him.”

Asked by the magazine why he snubbed his fans, the cocky actor said: “Look, I’m not here to greet or entertain fans…besides, I don’t get paid to greet fans, and it’s none of your business.”
