Actor Mickey Rourke has come clean in admitting that he has absolutely no idea what his latest film "Iron Man 2" is about.

The somewhat eccentric star who plays the role of lead villain, Whiplash in the sequel drew a blank when questioned about the film in an interview by MTV.

Josh Horowitz from MTV asked him about the rumours of the secret "Iron Man" scene to which Rourke replied, "I haven't seen the film."

Showing his commitment to the role, the Oscar nominee went on to say "If you want me to be honest with you, I've only read my part," he confessed. "I had no idea what was going on in the movie, really."

Even after "Iron Man 2" premiered, Rourke was no further with figuring out what the film was about.

Rourke has shown a similar "me" focus for other movies he has starred in.

According to the actor, he demonstrated a similar technique on his upcoming movie "Passion Play" that he starred in with Megan Fox.

"I just did a movie with Megan Fox and I have no idea what's going on!" he declared.

Quick, somebody get a publicist to Mickey's side immediately before he comes clean with the fact he has no idea about any of the films he has worked on.
