Daphne Guinness has treated her Twitter followers to a sneak peek into her upcoming MAC collaboration.
The artist and prominent haute couture collector will be releasing a beauty line in partnership with the global cosmetics brand this December, following on from MAC's collaborations with artist Cindy Sherman and professional ice skater Johnny Weir.
The range of 21 products, due to launch in the US on December 26 and internationally in January, will include "rich, seasonal hues," and this week Daphne modeled a vibrant lip shade via her page on the social-networking site.
"My lips are an Appoaching Storm, .......what fun I am having... (sic)," wrote Daphne to accompany the image.
Daphne has been sharing the product images since recently receiving samples from MAC. In her tweets she also praises the cosmetics company for being "so cool" and "understanding artists," hinting that the line will reflect her eccentric aesthetic.
In another meeting between the world of haute couture and high street cosmetics, Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld's beauty line for French cosmetics giant Sephora launched last week at Sephora.fr.
Currently available in European and Singapore Sephora stores, the collection will be making its way to the US soon and features eye shadows, nail polishes, and accessories.
