MWeb is going to play host to EA's official ranked servers for Battlefield 3.

The servers will include 64 player instances, which the company anticipates will be the most popular multi-player cap for the game.

In order to do this, MWeb will be getting new servers specifically for the game.

“Aside from the quality performance from the servers, MWeb will give Battlefield 3 players the best possible gaming experience by giving the game play traffic the highest priority and assurance levels on the MWeb network,” says Desmond Kurz, online gaming manager at MWeb.

A one 1mbps connection is recommended for the game.

Gamers who pre-order Battlefield 3 will gain early access to MWeb's beta servers, along with members of the community who will be helping MWeb test them.

The company is also planning to have lessons for people who lack the knowledge or confidence to play the game.
