'Indie Game: The Movie' sets release date for June 12
Sundance and SXSW award winner Indie Game: The Movie has announced a worldwide release for June 12 via iTunes, Steam, and the film's own website.
The film follows three acclaimed developers -- Jonathan Blow of Braid fame, Phil Fish, who spent six years as the designer of Fez, and the two-man Team Meat of Super Meat Boy -- in a tale of anxiety, ambition and interactive art.
Advance screenings have been taking place at film festivals and cinemas as part of a North American tour, with upcoming events scheduled in locations such as Toronto, Paris, Cologne, London, and Salt Lake.
