A new, red-band trailer for Magic Mike starring Channing Tatum ('The Vow') has been released, showing more footage -- and more bodies.

Set in the world of male strippers and based loosely on a story inspired by Tatum's real life, the comedy directed by Steven Soderbergh ( Contagion) costars Matthew McConaughey and Alex Pettyfer (I Am Number Four).

The footage tells the story of Mike, who takes a new young dancer, The Kid, under his wing to school him in the art of dancing and partying, but the fun times take a turn when Mike meets The Kid's pretty sister -- and his wild lifestyle gets in the way of love.

Tatum stars in his latest of a string of dramas, comedies and action films, including Soderbergh's  Haywire, romantic drama  The Vow with Rachel McAdams,  21 Jump Street with Jonah Hill, and coming up, his return to the  G.I. Joe franchise with  Retaliation, which was postponed to 2013 for 3D conversion.

Magic Mike opens June 28-29 in Russia and North America, then July 11-12 in the UK and the Netherlands, followed by Australia July 26, and rolling out in Singapore, France and Germany through August.

Scroll down to see the trailer.
