More tickets released for Adam Lambert concert
In response to overwhelming demand, Big Concerts has released additional seated tickets for Adam Lambert’s upcoming performances in both Cape Town and Johannesburg.
Lambert will be touring South Africa for the first time this November on Tuesday November 13 at the Grand Arena, GrandWest and then on Friday November 16 at the Coca-Cola Dome Johannesburg.
Lambert, who came to prominence following his appearance on the eighth season of American Idol as runner-up, launched a successful music career with the release of his first studio album For Your Entertainment, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, selling over two million copies, and reaching the Top 10 in over a dozen countries worldwide.
The album achieved international success with its singles For Your Entertainment, Whataya Want from Me and If I Had You.
Since the release of his debut album Lambert has accrued numerous awards and nominations, including a Grammy nomination for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance and is the first American Idol finalist to tour the world in support of a debut album in the year following their season.
Lambert is openly gay and a fervent gay rights activist. For his birthday each year, asks friends and fans to donate money to various charities instead of getting him a birthday gift.
The newly released seated tickets as well as golden circle and general admission standing can be purchased through Computicket.
