"I don't like seeing sad stories, but it's interesting to see the courage shown by the disabled and how they live with their deformities and ailments," says Miriam Kazarnovsky.

"Maybe they have accepted their deformed state. I find it interesting to see how they live and manage. It gives me greater appreciation for my own health and wellbeing.

"I watched an episode (on the Discovery channel) that focused on albinism the other day. It was sad to listen to their stories, but they are part of God's creation and we need to appreciate such people," says the 26-year-old, who is glad to be home after studying graphic design in New York City.
