Do you want top billing?

BONGIWE KHUMALO | 29 August, 2010 23:570 Comments

If you are 18 years or older, have a sense of style and love glamour then Top Billing might be looking for you. The SABC3 lifestyle show is embarking on a nationwide search for a fresh face to be added to its cast.

Top Billing, produced by Tswelopele Productions, is South Africa's longest-running magazine programme and showcases South African and international fashion and décor trends.

Food, travel, music, movies and celebrity lifestyles are the order of the day and are covered in different inserts, hosted by the show's various presenters. Michael Mol, Jo-Ann Strauss, Ursula Chikane and Tatum Keshwar are among the anchors.

Auditions for a presenter started off in Cape Town on Friday and Saturday at the Protea Hotel Fire and Ice.

The next leg will be in Durban on September 3 and 4 at the Protea Hotel in Umhlanga Ridge from 9am to 7pm.

Port Elizabeth will get a chance on September 10 and 11, Nelspruit on September 14 and Bloemfontein on September 21 - but the times and venues for these auditions are yet to be confirmed.

The last auditions will be September 24 and 25 at the Protea Hotel Fire and Ice. The time for these is yet to be confirmed.

To enter, log on to www.topbilling. com or www.sabc3.co.za to download an entry form, and on the day bring the completed form, full-length photograph and your ID book.

The winner will get an intensive presenter course and a three-month contract with Top Billing, with the possibility of the contract being extended.
