South African e-sports is in the spotlight this weekend as the top players in the country battle it out for R1-million, the biggest prize pool in local history.

The Telkom Digital Gaming League Masters Final will see two tournaments, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) and Dota 2, played during the rAge expo in Johannesburg.

As is the norm, the eight multi-gaming organisations taking part in the final have different teams taking part in the two games.

There will be numerous games this weekend, coming to a conclusion at about 3pm on Sunday afternoon.
