Smoked trout omelette

Avocado magazine | 25 January, 2012 00:21

How make a smoked trout omelette

INGREDIENTS:

  • 10ml oil
  • 5 eggs
  • 5ml dill
  • 5ml parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 50g cream cheese
  • 150g peas
  • 100g smoked trout

METHOD:

Heat a little oil in a non-stick frying pan over a medium-low heat.

Beat the eggs together with the dill, parsley and seasoning, then pour the mixture into the warm pan. Leave it to cook while you prepare the filling.

Cook the peas in a little boiling water, in the microwave or on the stove. Once the egg has cooked through, spread over the cream cheese, add the cooked peas and the slices of smoked trout.

Fold over and serve.

Tip: If you do not have trout, you can use smoked salmon.

SERVES: Two

TIME: 15 minutes
