Chef of the Year Competition

Sunday Times in association with FoodCorp are looking for South Africa's most talented chefs

Turn up the heat and blow us away with your three-course menu, and you could become the 2012 Sunday Times Chef of the Year.

For the chef in you that has the recipe for success, here's the chance that you have been waiting for.

The Sunday Times Chef of the Year, in association with Foodcorp, is designed to recognise South Africa's top chefs and reward their dedication to the pursuit of culinary excellence, consistency and innovation.

Professional and qualified chefs are invited to take up the challenge in four competitions, with more than R100 000* in the pot for the winners in the various categories.

Junior Chef of the Year      R10 000

Young Chef of the Year     R20 000

Stalwart of the Kitchen      R10 000

Chef of the Year                R50 000

*Includes 2nd and 3rd prizes in all categories.
