Nelson Mandela, Father of the nation,

The great son of the soil,

The true restorer of human dignity.

African legendary icon of our time,

The prominent figure of 21st Century,

Freedom hero among heroes,

Tata,you are our role model.

Africa and its Diaspora salute you,

The world salutes you, the hero of our time,

A valorous and valiant leader,

Truly illustrious warrior,

The model of African democracy,

A living rational achiever,

Your tolerance stopped streams of tears.

Today we live in Peace and harmony.

Sixty seven minutes of our time,

Doing good for the people in need,

Sixty minutes, a symbol of good life for all,

Indeed, this minutes worth compassion and goodwill,

Minutes of hope and Vision.

Lets celebrate Madiba extraordinary life,

The life of true leader,

Man of substance,

Truly, Beacon of Africa's democracy,

Who is like him?

The Grandfather to Millions of people,

Oh! Yes, he deserves honour and respect.

Happy Birthday Tata,

Happy Mandela Day,
